Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th July 2025 Written Episode Update: Kiara Finds Out About Charu's Death While Pookie's Truth Will Come Out?

The episode starts with Maira walking down, and Abhira just adores her until she realizes what she is wearing. Geetanjali sees Maira's clothes and asks where she got them from. Maira says she is playing Abhira's daughter's role; she announces that she is Pookie. Abhira is stunned to see Maira, while Maira says to Abhira that she is her Pookie. Abhira sits down to have a look at her; she is crying. Till she realizes what she is doing? That Maira got so attached to her, and indirectly Armaan will also be connected to her, she says she will have to push Maira away.

Abhira pushes Maira away, saying to go to her mother, but Maira says that she is her mother today, but Abhira shouts that she is not her daughter; she is only Geetanjali's daughter. She shouts at Maira to go away from her as she is not her family and to go to her parents. Maira gets hurt and can't hold back tears seeing Abhira shout at her. She calls Abhira a bad and rude aunty, saying that's why her Pookie left her.

Armaan, seeing this, shouts at Maira, asking her to apologize to Abhira, but Maira stubbornly says he is also bad and refuses to talk to them. She hugs Geetanjali, saying only she is her mother; Papa doesn't love her. While Abhira's chuda cover falls, Daduu notices it and asks her to cover it, saying it's not auspicious. He says to her that she has scolded Maira harshly today, as she was just trying to bring happiness. Abhira says Geetanjali would have been hurt if she had hugged Maira today, and she doesn't want Geetanjali to think she is taking Maira away.

Geetanjali hears this and apologizes to her and shows gratitude for thinking so much of them. While when Abhira is alone, she cries her heart out, hugging Pookie's clothes.

While Kiara confronts Abhir over why Charu is not picking up her call, she gives Abhir Charu's swear. While Charu sees Abhir at Poddar House, she decides to again ask about Charu until she discovers him doing the last rituals of Charu. Kiara discovers that Charu is dead. She shouts out of shock and pain and asks Abhir what happened. Abhir discovers Charu had stage 4 cancer, and they discovered it too late. Kiara asks why he didn't inform them. She says they will have to tell family, but Abhir says it was Charu's last wish to see his brother get married without any trouble, saying that's why they will have to hide the truth.

While Armaan confronts Maira over the recent event, making her understand that it was her mistake and that's why Abhira shouted at her and to not call her a bad aunty, Maira says she shouted at her; she can bear it if Mummy and Papa shout at her, but she is not her mother. Armaan says how Abhira loves her, and she can shout at her and not hurt such a person. He says she has hurt cute aunty today. Armaan confesses that he also has hurt a person in the past and asks Maira to not make the same mistake and asks her to apologize to Abhira.

While Anshuman comes to comfort Abhira, she tries to act brave in front of him, but Anshuman stops her from faking it. Abhira says she doesn't want to cry over Pookie. Anshuman asks Abhira why she is giving up on Pookie. Abhira feels guilty for how she shouted at Maira; she feels Maira was right and she was a bad parent. She says nobody is here, and she will have to accept that Pookie doesn't want to return.

While Manoj comes to Krish's room showing urgency, saying that Krish can't change that Poddar firm's name as Armaan is also a shareholder, Manoj tries to plant a seed in Krish's head: that is, Armaan sells his share, and that share owner buys more shares; then the person can take over the firm. Krish asks Manoj why he is so concerned. As he used to be on Armaan's side. Manoj says Armaan has been absent for 7 years, and what he did with Abhira is so bad. He says Poddar House can't go to him; they will have to take back his share. They need to get Armaan to sign those papers, just like Krish did with Kaveri. Manoj wants to make Krish confess, but Krish says not to worry; he will handle Armaan.

While Abhira makes a call in the police station asking them to stop the search for Pookie, she even opens her diary and one by one tears the pages that she kept so dearly with her all along. At last, she sees Pookie's picture and breaks down.

Precap: In the coming episode, Pookie's truth will be on edge, as Abhira will call Armaan, asking him to pick up the call, saying that she needs his help finding Pookie, while Kaveri realizes that she has made a mistake, and if Abhira finds the truth from someone else, Armaan will become a villain. She also calls Armaan, but Armaan is in the hospital, and he has fainted. What will happen now?
