Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 16th August 2025 Written Episode Update: Abhira Gets Hospitalized Will She Still Perform? Maira calls Abhira "Mumma"?

Today's episode starts with Maira feeling guilty about her actions, calling herself bad. Armaan condemns her actions, saying she should never call herself bad, saying her mother won't like it, and even if Abhira gets to know that Maira locked her, she will never get angry. Maira says, "Why?" She doesn't behave well, but Abhira still calls her baby. Armaan says it's because she is her baby, and she fought with everyone to bring her into the world.

Armaan says before Daksh, she had one more brother, BSP, whom God took, and now Maira is her survivor baby, a special one, and her love is unconditional towards her, and because of him, Maira started to call Geetanjali her mother. Armaan asks Maira to ask her heart if they did right today. Armaan says, "Did anyone tell her to do something like that?" Maira says her heart was telling her no, and Armaan says she loves Geetanjali, but not everyone is right. Armaan says Abhira is perfect and her love is unmatched.

Armaan says for her safety, Abhira took this step and got hurt. Maira recalls all the moments with Abhira, while Abhira whispers Maira's name. Armaan calls doctors, while Abhira keeps repeating that they need to go to the competition. A doctor comes and asks her not to speak, while Abhira keeps repeating that for Maira's happiness, they need to be in the competition. Abhira asks Armaan to take Maira to the competition, and they leave.

Whereas Kaveri and Vidya wonder why Geetanjali is dressed up in costume. While Daduu says Maira won't come, Geetanjali says she will come to her real mother. Whereas organizers are seen talking about changing the lights on stage, otherwise a mishap will happen, but they take it lightly and don't change. While the announcement is made for performance, Geetanjali is shocked to see Armaam performing with Maira.

Vidya and Kaveri get emotional as Armaan and Maira perform together, while Geetanjali thinks, "How can Armaan take away this right?" The other contestants complain that this is cheating; only the mother can participate. They are stopped mid-performance, saying only the mother could participate. Geetanjali is ready to perform, and Abhira shocks everyone by coming to the stage to perform.

Kaveri wonders how Abhira got hurt. While Armaan gets angry at why she is here in such condition, the three of them dance together, the performance ends, and the light bulb has a blast. Abhira saves Armaan and Maira but gets hurt herself as a piece of glass gets in her foot; she is in pain, loses her balance, and falls. Maira couldn't see this and shouts, "Mumma," and runs toward Abhira. It is the first time Abhira has felt Maira has accepted her.

Daddu is happy while Abhira asks Maira to repeat what she said. Maira again says "Mumma." Geetanjali is hurt. Maira says she must be in pain. Abhira says all her pain and wounds are filled now. While Abhira is still adamant about completing the dance in such condition, they say they will choose the song this time. They both perform beautifully. Judges are impressed, and they get a standing ovation.

Precap: Kaveri says finally Maira has accepted Abhira. Vidya says it will be unfair to Anshuman if Abhira marries him, but Abhira announces that she will marry Anshuman in two days, while Maira sees Abhira and Armaan's wedding picture and asks if they can marry again.
