The episode begins with a shocking twist—Neil gets shot while saving Sai, and Shrichand is finally arrested. Savi rushes Neil to the hospital, while the police summon Bhagyashree and the family for further investigation, placing them all under suspicion once again.

When Savi requests custody of Kiyansh so she can focus on Neil’s treatment, Bhagyashree refuses, but Bharti steps in and makes her hand the baby over—not without a warning that she will take her grandchildren back soon.

At the hospital, the doctor declares Neil's condition critical as he's taken to surgery. Outside the operation theater, Savi is haunted by flashbacks of her moments with Neil. Sai asks if her “Pookie Uncle” will also leave them, just like her father. To calm her, Savi sends Sai to pray in the hospital temple.

As Savi prays with desperation, a nurse comforts her, saying her “husband” will recover. Savi is struck by that term—it now feels real. The doctor later informs the family that they won’t be able to determine anything until Neil regains consciousness. When Neil's family arrives, Leena questions Savi, and upon hearing the truth, slaps her, blaming Savi for Neil’s condition. But Sai stands by her mother and is hopeful Neil will recover.

Later, Neil regains consciousness, but to the shock of the nurses and doctor, he doesn’t remember anything. He refers to Savi as his wife and asks about their children but fails to recognize Leena or the rest of his actual family. The doctor sedates Neil to allow his body to rest. Leena is furious and devastated, unable to accept that her son remembers Savi and not his own mother.

The nurse confirms that the woman Neil remembers is Savi, and Dr. Surwase calls her into his cabin. There, seeing Savi’s sindoor, he questions her marital status. Savi explains how Neil had filled her hairline with sindoor publicly, making her his wife in the eyes of society. The doctor connects the dots and gently reveals that Neil has suffered partial memory loss due to the trauma and may only remember Savi and her children.
