Producer Firoz Nadiadwala announced Family Universe!

Firoz Nadiadwala is known for producing many of Bollywood's biggest comedy and action films. He has a history for creating large scale family entertainers. He is the head of the film production company Base Industries Group which is the part of the long standing Nadiadwala Family Legacy in the film industry. 

Nadiadwala is a prolific producer and his filmography spans over several decades. The producer recently announced plans to launch a cinematic Family Universe. He is set to bring old favourites and new stories for a family audience. 

In a recent interview Firoz opened up about his future plans and said people are making cop, spy and horror comedy universes but we have created a mix of all genres for the family audience. He also named the film which will have their sequels including Aan: Men At Work, Aawara Paagal Deewana, Deewane Huye Paagal. 

Firoz also revealed that his two of the most loved and popular franchise Hera Pheri and Welcome sequels i.e. Hera Pheri 3 and Welcome to the Jungle will be parts of this family universe. 

The producer also said that there will be new films as well in the universe. As the name suggest family universe Nadiadwala clarified that all the films will be clean and pure for the in alignment with the family audience. He even touched upon the casting saying there will be new and old actors working together adding the old school charm and fresh faces in his sequels and prequels. 

He even went on to say that he is the first filmmaker who is actually making a film on the greatest epic of the world Mahabharat. For the unversed there have been plenty of makers are reportedly in the run of developing and making Mahabharat for years. Aamir Khan is also said to be one of the makers in the list. 

Talking about Hera Pheri 3- the film is set to bring the trio back Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. They will reprise their roles of Raju, Shyam and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte. However, the makers have not announced the other lead actors of the film as of yet. It is slated to release next year and is directed by Priyadarshan. 

Meanwhile, Welcome to the Jungle is directed by Ahmed Khan. It has a huge star cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Tusshar Kapoor and Johnny Lever to name a few. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
