Fire Breaks Out on Anupamaa Set Quick Action Prevents Major Damage

A fire broke out today on the set of the popular Star Plus show Anupamaa, located in Goregaon's Film City, Mumbai. The incident occurred in the early morning, causing panic among the cast and crew present. According to sources, the blaze started due to a suspected short circuit in the lighting equipment during the shoot. Fortunately, the fire was quickly noticed, and emergency services were called in immediately. Firefighters arrived at the scene promptly and managed to bring the situation under control before the flames could spread further or cause serious injuries. Reportedly, five fire brigade vehicles were rushed to the spot as soon as the fire was reported.

The show's production team acted swiftly to ensure everyone's safety. All crew members and actors were evacuated from the set without delay. Thankfully, no casualties or injuries were reported, although some property damage is expected.

A spokesperson from the Anupamaa team confirmed the incident and assured fans that all necessary safety measures are being reviewed to avoid such occurrences in the future. The production is likely to resume soon once the set is restored, and according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the fire originated in a tent on the set of Anupamaa. The incident was classified as a Level-I emergency at 6:26 am.
