They did an intimate ceremony with family and friends in a simple manner where both signed and confirmed the marriage at Kapurthala House.

The interesting part begins here: they did what is not usually heard of; they hosted a lively party at an ice factory.

Reportedly it was Karishma whose idea this was, who embraced her vitiligo journey and fulfilled her dream of wearing a white gown instead of a traditional red lehenga.

This marriage truly represents them and their ideology.

In a clip, Karishma is seen saying, “I’m Sikh, but ever since I can remember, I visualized myself in a white gown and not a red lehenga for my wedding.” Further added, “When I was younger, the version of my dream gown was very different. But when I got my first patch of vitiligo, it changed.”

So the white gown is not only an outfit but also her conscious and bold choice to represent what she had been through in her life, and it truly is commendable.

Their Love Story

Reportedly one of Karishma's friends played Meet Cute in making Karishma and Mikhail meet up. Things worked out! Later in November 2024, Mikhail proposed to Karishma during a concert of their favorite French band, AIR, in Bangkok.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were part of this celebration and most certainly stole the show with their happiness and love for the couple, as Katrina could be seen with her ‘VK’ mehendi and even cheered for the bride and groom, shouting “Kiss!” while Vicky’s dance moves were hard to miss.
