Bigg Boss 18's Shilpa Shirodkar has tested positive for Covid-19. She took to Instagram to share where she wrote. “Hello, people! I’ve tested positive for COVID. Stay safe and wear your masks!”

Advising people to be safe and wear masks as a precaution.

This variant of Covid-19, or JN.1, is a sublineage of the Omicron variant and is currently under close observation by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The virus had been on the rise in South Asian countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, and now India.

Reportedly in India, 257 cases have been reported on the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s Covid-19 dashboard.

As Shilpa shared the news, the well wishes from loved ones and fans filled her comment section, including get well soon from Sonakshi Sinha and more.

Shilpa Shirodkar was a part of Bigg Boss 18, and fans loved her on the show.

Shilpa Shirodkar is an Indian actress and former photo model who worked primarily in Hindi-language films from 1989 to 2000.

After a 13-year hiatus from acting, she made her comeback to acting, this time on television in the Zee TV series Ek Mutthi Aasmaan in 2013.

The official statement reads, "The Ministry of Health (MOH) and Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) are monitoring a recent increase in COVID-19 infections in Singapore. There is no indication that the variants circulating locally are more transmissible or cause more severe disease compared to previously circulating variants."

The MOH and CDA advised people with an increased risk of severe COVID-19 to keep updated with vaccinations, recommending that they receive an additional dose around one year after their last dose.
